Hon. Ibrahim Barrie is an elected Member of Parliament representing Bombali District, known for his unwavering dedication to public service, democracy, and sustainable development. A distinguished academic, Hon. Barrie is a lecturer at the University of Makeni, where he has taught for over six years, specializing in Qualitative and Quantitative Research, Public Policy, and Project Management. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in shock-responsive social protection interventions at the University of Makeni, he also holds an MSc in Public Policy from the University of Bristol and an MA in Sustainable Development from the University of Makeni. His academic journey has been marked by prestigious accolades, including being a 2017 Commonwealth Scholar and a 2021 Mandela Washington Fellow.
