Profile: Honourable Mohamed Sheriff Rahman-Coker

Applied Accounting from Institute of Public Administration and Management- University of Sierra Leone.

His priority has always been the empowerment of women and youths were and has raised advocacy on ensuring women and youths in his constituency are cared for and giving equal opportunity to participate in the democratic processes. Honourable Mohamed Sheriff Rahman-Coker was elected Member of Parliament for constituency 131 in the western Area, under the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) in March 2018.He is in the well of Parliament advocating on issues affecting Sierra Leoneans especially those living in his constituency.

He has identified the following as constituency needs: youth and women empowerment, Improved medical care, good and quality educational facilities (rehabilitation and construction of Schools), construction of roads, safe water and Micro credit facilities. He is working tirelessly to make sure these issues are addressed.

Honourable Mohamed Sheriff Rahman-Coker is currently Chairman of the Tourism and Cultural Affairs Committee in the House of Parliament. He is also a member of other committees which includes; Planning and Economic Development, Agriculture, Water Resources and Labour and Social Security Committees.
