Profile: Honorable Momodu Sahr Koutu

Honorable Momodu Sahr Koutu is ahighly regarded Member of Parliament in Sierra Leone, known for his extensivecontributions to community development and public service. Before his politicalcareer, he worked for three years as a Supervisor at PAE, where he gained vitalleadership and operational management experience. He also managed HedjaziApartment Home for 18 years, developing strong expertise in property managementand business operations.

Hon. Koutu holds a B.Sc. (Hon) in ArchitecturalInterior from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, which he obtainedin April 2024. His architectural knowledge and passion for development havefueled numerous projects, including the construction of 18 community schools, 7community hand-dug wells, and 7 bridges. He has also awarded 5 scholarships touniversity students, demonstrating his deep commitment to education.

In parliament, Hon. Koutu serves on several keycommittees, including the Energy Committee, Youth Affairs Committee, NASSIT andPublic Investment Committee, and the Environment and Climate Change Committee.His focus on sustainable development and youth empowerment highlights hiscommitment to national progress. Additionally, Hon. Koutu owns a radio stationin his community, providing a platform for local voices and fosteringcommunication and engagement. His leadership and dedication continue to make apositive impact on both his constituency and the country.
