Biography
Hon. Musa Fofanah
He was born on 24/7/1975 in Jaima Town, Kono District to Alhaji Mohamed Fofanah and Neneh Umu Bah. He is a distinguished Hon. Member of Parliament, currently holding the esteemed position of Chairman Committee on Local Government Community Affairs. Caucus Leader Kono MPs inthe House of the Republic of Sierra Leone Parliament, the highest legislative body. He was elected as a Member of Parliament on 2018. is the Ahaji Fofanah, Alpha Fofanah, Sanosie Fofanah Isha Fofanah, Haja Fofanah, Mariama Fofanah,]of Mohamed Y. Bah, David Tamba Usman, a prominent member of the Sierra Leones Peoples Party and holds the position of Chairman Committee on Local Government Community Affairs. Coucus Leader Kono MPs in the House of Parliament.
From 2002 to 2010, He served as the Community Mobilizer and Wash Technician of the Premiere Urgency France. Additionally, he held various significant roles, such as WashSupervisor at Peace Winds Japan and AssistanceLogistic Officer, Wash Supervisor and Maintenance Coordinator] at Inter Aid Sierra Leone.
EARLY LIFE
He was born in the rural town of Jaiama Town, Kono District, in the Eastern Province of Sierra Leone, and he belongs to the Mandingo Tribe descent. Growing up in a deeply Muslim household.
EDUCATION
He attended RC Tongo Field Primary School Secondary School in Agaric Sec School Tongo/ Ahmadiyya Sec. School Kenema . Abrilliant student during his secondary school years, He was highly admired by both fellow students and teachers.
After completing secondary school, He pursued higher education at University of Management and Technology (UNIMTECH). He holds a Diploma certificate in Logistic and Procurement and a Degree in Economics Development BSc .
CAREER
His industrious career includes holding positions such as Assistance Logistic Officer at InterAid Sierra Leone from 2007–2007,Wash Supervisor and Maintenance Coordinator at Inter Aid Sierra Leone from[2007–2010,
He is an expert in Communities Mobilization, Wash Survey, Water Facilities Construction and Maintenance and Rehabilitation of Water Facilities. Furthermore, he has contributed to the wash facilities construction in the East and the Northern part of Sierra Leone
