Biography

Member of Parliament representative of Moyamba district She has a Higher Teachers Certificate (HTC) and teachers

Certificate (TC).

She became a Member of Parliament in March 2018, following election victory in the Moyamba district February 2018 Paramount Chief elections. She has been a strong advocate in the well of Parliament on issues like womens involvement in politics, gender-based violence and womens empowerment.

Honourable Paramount Chief Haja Fatmata Bintu Koroma Meama-kajue VI is currently a Member of the Trade and Industry and Ethics committees in the House of Parliament.

Honourable Paramount Chief Haja Fatmata Bintu Koroma Meama-kajue VI and her people have identified construction of feeder roads as major problem affecting people living in the Moyamba district. She is working closely with the Members of Parliament in her chiefdom, to respond to these major needs of her people.
