Profile: Honourable Yusuf MackeryBorn on 20th September 1980 in Niagorehun Bargbo Chiefdom Bo District, Honourable Yusuf Mackery is a Health and Development Worker with Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health, Post Graduate Certificate in Planning and Higher Diploma in Community Health Sciences. He is also awaiting his Masters in Public Health Certificate.

Honourable Yusuf Mackery in his capacity as a Community Health Worker has rendered health services to his people and served as a trusted advocate in ensuring the availability of health facilities and other basic needs required by his constituents. He was determined to use the political platform to give more support to his people. Honourable Yusuf Mackery contested the March 2018 parliamentary elections and secured a comfortable victory under the ticket of the Sierra Leone People’s Party. He was therefore duly elected as a Member of Parliament for Constituency 087Bo district.

He is the Chairman of the SDG Committee and a Member of five committees in the House of Parliament; Legislative, Agriculture, Transport and Aviation, Lands and Environment and Youth Affairs committees.

Honourable Yusuf Mackery has identified education, improved health care services, clean and adequate water supply, gender advocacy and youth empowerment as major needs in his constituency and therefore advocating for effective mobilization of resources to help address them.
